I am a garden girl. I love to have my hands in dirt, planting flowers or vegetables or picking weeds. This wonderful aspect of my life is on hold because my daughter doesn't like to be outside! I have 4 yards of dirt in my driveway waiting to be put into the new gardens and I'm not sure when it's going to get done. I have to dig up this plant and put it there and put these new plants here and the vegetables go there. It's a puzzle I can't wait to finish.
Let's hope it doesn't rain on my garden.

Last year I hardly got into the garden at all and it really frustrated me. This year it's looking beautiful and lush. I still don't get as much time as I would like, but Marty's been good at letting me take a couple of hours on the weekend to poke around. Next year I am planning on extending it (no money for flowers or dirt this year). There is a lot of landscaping to do now that he deck is done, but all for next year. This year I get to dream and plan!
